Saturday is market day in Fleet. But this particular day the weather is a little better, there is some sun, but it's still only just above freezing, so not many stalls and not many people about. The outside pavement tables are empty and I don't blame them. Everyone is inside. Everyone that is, except the hardy fishermen on the canal, sitting patiently for a bite. No, I tell a lie. I did spot two elderly folk sitting quietly on a street bench. The 'No Stopping' sign on a post between them, amused me.
