The Journey


Mist turns even really grotty places into mysterious fantasy lands. This is my local station, and utterly unremarkable. But here, spot-lit in the fog, it looks almost romantic. In the original shot, there wasn't a soul about and I thought what the empty station really needed was a focal point of interest. So, tonight, I asked a mate to stand in as the lonely traveler. But now I'm not so sure if it's actually a better shot, just empty. Or maybe, an embracing couple would be more sympathetic to the scene than just a guy standing there. Yeah...
