Ed Kashi

Ed Kashi is a New York based photojournalist who probably makes a real difference in the world through his work by reporting and showing issues via his photography to a wider audience. Still images like his are so much more powerful than quickly forgotton video, in my opinion. It helps I guess that his wife is a film maker...

But he has also combined the power of video with stills in an unusual and effective way, more suitable perhaps to the YouTube audience. Take a minute to view this trailer. And take a few more minutes to view his photo-stories, like this one of Marseille.

That's It Folks!
