Children

(Click on the images to view larger)

Photographing children is no easy task. I usually find stapling to the floor or gluing them to a chair works best. But then again, their expression invariably suffers. So I'm generally reduced to running around like an idiot trying to make them laugh and stay in the same spot long enough to focus. An impossible task. This little two year old, the son of my niece was no exception to the rule. Being strapped into the car helped on one shot, while clinging to railings helped with the other. Cute, eh? Shot using the Leica M9 and 35mm lens wide open at f2.

  1. Good shots, and what a cutie! Glad to see this blog AND your writing, Peter. Much to read, and hope to see many photos with that Leica.

That's It Folks!

The gate is now shut. With no one around, it's time to turn off the lights and leave. It's been fun and maybe one day someone will...
