Back after a week at Lake Garda in Italy. Medieval shoreside villages with crumbling red and yellow brick buildings and wall-to-wall street-side Italian pizzerias.
The weather had that lovely peculiarly Mediterranean feel to the light; soft, warm and harmonious both to the countryside and the architecture. The town, on the Gardone Riviera, had that listless end of season feel to it, very few people around and hotels half to a quarter empty. At the end of this week everything closes for six months. Immaculately maintained with no modern high-rise buildings, burger shops, rubbish or yobos it's a lovely area.
This particular snap-shot was taken just before dusk using the 90mm on the soon to be dead Leica M9.
