If Walls Could Talk

Was there any design to this building? Or has it organically materialised? Somehow I don't think any Planning or Building Control Authority existed when it was built. In itself it's nothing special and the place is full of such buildings. And the brickwork, shutters, and opening placements are generally... odd. But somehow the whole is charmingly human and works wonderfully. Even the brickwork deserves closer inspection and appreciation. Perhaps it's the warmth of the light. Good light makes everything beautiful, doesn't it? Taken in Limone

Even though this is hand-held shot taken at a relatively slow shutter speed, the combination of CCD sensor, sharp lens and no flapping mirror within the camera, works well. And this is taken from a jpeg file, not the raw file, which would have been even sharper. Also the main picture  has already been cropped about 35%. Note the wires on the wall which are invisible on the main shot at the smaller resolution).

(The crop below taken from the top left hand side of the image above, is at 100%, click on the image to see full size.

That's It Folks!

The gate is now shut. With no one around, it's time to turn off the lights and leave. It's been fun and maybe one day someone will...
