In my day job I've often come up against the monied classes living in wealth and splendour while their tenants more often than not live in dilapidated homes. Naturally the upkeep costs of their tenanted properties must be kept to an absolute minimum - otherwise how could one afford to heat one's swimming pool(s)? The abrogation of responsibility of such landlords is rife. And here is another terrible example of the casual cruelty inflicted by honourable 'lordships'. Read this blog by Gentle Otter and weep. But better still, read this and perhaps do something. Publicise the plight of these folks where you can.
