Getting up at 2am to go into town looking for a more interesting view on a well worn subject is difficult. Usually because when the alarm goes off, it seems a much better idea to stay in bed. However, having agreed to go together with a friend, it meant I really did have to get out of bed. So we found ourselves in London between 3am and 5am looking for some interesting pictures. It was a slightly foggy and a very still night which made all the difference pictorially. Was it worth it? Two or three of the shots turned out ok so I think so, and if the weather is interesting, I'll probably do it again.
South bank of the Thames taken on the Leica M9 and 35mm at f.8 with a 20 second exposure.
I like this, and it may well be something I'll not see in person. (Better you than I at that hour, Peter.) Beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a bit scary at that time of night...
