This is the port town of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. Once a bustling terminus for the ferry traffic from the mainland, now completely bypassed by the road bridge. But maybe its all the better for that. A delightfully sleepy place, full of charm. Once again, as so often happens in Scotland, the weather was horizontal rain for much of the day and then seemingly in a trice, and often for a very brief period, the sun shines. Nikon D70 & 18-75mm.
