Alan Brain

(Click on the image for a larger view)

Alan is a local artist and in a previous life a pilot and much else. He paints contemporary vivid abstract images that reflect his and the viewers feelings and mood. I called him up one day and asked if he would  allow me to take some shots of him  working. He works from a comfortable suburban home so the surroundings were not exactly the starving artist in a garret stereotype. I did some general shots of him working but the best were from the close up shots of his face. These are just two from the session.
Shot hand-held on a Nikon D70 and 18-75mm zoom.

That's It Folks!

The gate is now shut. With no one around, it's time to turn off the lights and leave. It's been fun and maybe one day someone will...
