A dedicated film maker, actor and all round creative bloke, that's Robin King.
We met up at a local coffee shop and discussed the vagaries of getting a film made and the dedication in time, effort and money it needs. He sipped his coffee, rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders at all the difficulties stacked against any would be film maker. But despite this, I never once had the impression he would ever give it all up. Quite the opposite in fact. He's on a mission to get his latest film up and running, cajoling everyone he knows into getting it into production. It'll happen, of that I have no doubt. He's already made some impressive films and garnered a number of awards, so the future could be bright. I hope it is. Do click on this link to view some of his films, you won't be disappointed.
The pictures above were taken in the garden of the coffee shop much to the amusement of the regulars but Robin, like the trooper he is, never complained once. (Shot hand held using Leica M9 and 90mm at f2.8)
